West Bloomfield High School is the only public high school within its district, containing 1,817 students and having a student-teacher ratio of 19 to 1. The school is ranked 93rd in Michigan with many opportunities for its students to excel. In the late twentieth century, the district has responded to growing enrollment by building a new school which is the current high school. Additions were then made throughout the early 2000s.
