Wayne Westland Community Schools Are Advancing with 3D Anatomy Dissection

William D. Ford Career-Technical Center is purchasing an Anatomage table for their Anatomy students. This could cost the school a total of two grants and the school board approved it on January 27, 2024.

What is an Anatomage Table? https://anatomage.com/table/

An anatomage table would allow students to digitally examine the human body without using a cadaver. Equipment like this is usually used inside medical schools and colleges, but the anatomy students will soon be learning at a more advanced level.

Along with advanced visualization, students at WWCSD have an opportunity to earn college credits toward an associate’s degree.

An open house was held at the career tech high school where future students were able to watch STEM activities, meet different program instructors, and even tour the facility.

Students can hope the new edition to their school workspace will be here in the next school year, but if not they will be excited to start digitally dissecting very soon.
