In an effort to keep parents and students informed and connected, the Wayne-Westland Community School District has established a diverse range of social media accounts. Utilizing platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, the district shares important information tailored to the unique audiences of each platform.

The district’s most active channels are Facebook and Instagram, where multiple daily posts showcase classroom activities, sports highlights, and student and faculty achievements. They are also a go-to source for announcements about events and school breaks, such as half days and snow days.
The Wayne-Westland School District’s YouTube channel offers a different type of engagement. Updated a few times each month, it primarily features recorded videos of school board meetings. The channel also provides a platform for graduation ceremonies, promotional videos about the district, and highlights from various school events.
