I used my timeline to incorporate a little bit of all of our assignments from the past semester. I made sure to stress our school districts because we did so much with that over the past few months but besides that, I also included slides on our podcasts, discussions, guest speakers, and even our blogging itself!
More than half of the timeline is relevant to our school district which says something to how much time we spent on that project. I don’t think we really had to spend that much time on it in my opinion. It felt like a lot of busy work, finding a lot of irrelevant data that we’re never going to use and developing useless skills that aren’t prevalent to the journalism world.
Nonetheless, I do believe that in other ways, we did have other projects that developed and honed our skills very well and I am very glad that I had the opportunity to learn how to better my abilities in that sense.
