Social Media Activity of The Woodhaven-Brownstown School District

The social media platform that the district uses the most is Facebook. They post updates on school openings/closings, events, fundraisers – the list could go on. The posts are closely monitored by eager parents happy to see their children winning Spelling Bees and Art Competitions. It is a great way to keep parents involved in their children’s education.

Another social media platform that the district uses is YouTube. There is a podcast hosted by the Superintendent, Mark Greathead, where he goes over the latest trends in education and much more about once a month. This is a very fun and engaging way to learn more about the district. Attached below is the most recent installment of the podcast series.

X, formerly known as Twitter is also a platform that the district fancies. They post updates and events on the popular app.

The district uses Instagram to post updates as well. However, their Instagram page is not as lively and appealing as the previously mentioned platforms.
