William D. Ford Career Technical Center, located in western Wayne County, is a special place in Wayne-Westland Community Schools District where students are especially excited to attend. How does it work? Students will spend half of their day in their home high school and then the other half at the career technical center.
What’s unique about this school is that they offer high school and college credits. Students can also earn certifications, credentials, paid internships, scholarships and be involved in many other opportunities. All of their teachers are industry experts and they work hard to create a strong learning and team-focused environment amongst students with or without similar career interests.
The programs William D. Ford offers have a wide range from digital design, welding, medicine, sports, education, architecture and much more. Truly, an impressive list! Their second round of student enrollment requests will be closed on April 11, 2025, for those who are eager to join.
