‘Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage’ is a Compelling New Podcast from Malcolm Gladwell

While I knew Malcolm Gladwell was a good writer, I did not know he was also a compelling audio presenter and storyteller. With tight editing, detailed background information and engaging interviews, “Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage” is not just interesting to listen to, but is a top-quality production.

Though there is only one season, hopefully more will be added this year for another as I am already halfway through the first. Many of the stories I was unfamiliar with, and I find them both fascinating and inspiring. As detailed extensively in the first episode, when you hear about stories of kindness or courage, you are more likely to undertake them yourself.

If nothing else, it does inspire me to think about creating my own podcast and potentially picking up another one of Gladwell’s books. I recommend “Medal of Honor” to anyone who enjoys acts of bravery in war as well as everyday life, or if they are in the market for a quality podcast to listen to.
