Looking Back, Pushing Forward: What We Learned About Journalism

I reflected on everything we did throughout the semester—from analyzing school district data and writing blog posts to creating a podcast episode. I discussed what I gained from our student-led discussions, how the guest speaker sessions shaped my perspective, and the real-world skills I developed through each assignment. This post looked back on the experiences, challenges, and growth that defined my journey in this class.

By revisiting key assignments like the school district analysis, blog writing, and podcast project, I could see how each experience built on the last.

Reflecting also helped me understand what stuck with me most—whether it was something a guest speaker said or a moment during a student-led discussion that shifted my perspective. This final blog was important because it tied everything together and showed the bigger picture of what I took away from the class.
