The school has been open since the summer of 1831 when Mrs. Blackman Started the school in her home, over time the school continued to grow and now holds 1,101 students. The school now offers many different sports, clubs and activities and strives to continue to build an academic atmosphere that promotes student growth and creativity.
Jackson High School also offers countless electives and future development opportunities such as dual enrollment to create the best possible learning experience for students.
