Brighton High School is one of two high schools within the Brighton Area Schools district (the other being an alternative Bridge High School for special accommodations). According to data from MIschooldata.org, 1,961 students currently attend 9th through 12th grade at Brighton High School. It is located close to downtown Brighton and boasts numerous athletic fields for student sports. The official mascot is the Bulldog.
Students at Brighton High School have the opportunity to enroll in 19 Advanced Placement courses and 4 honor classes, as well as career development and professional training experiences. Dual enrollment is also available for students who wish to receive credits for college courses. Class size maximum is currently 33 students per class, which allows for more dedicated attention for students.
