Find how the Wayne Memorial Zebras show their stripes

Social media is a useful tool for many schools to communicate with their students, faculty and families. Wayne Memorial, a high-school located in the Wayne-Westland community school district, is no stranger to social media.

The school has a number of interesting social media accounts, some more active than others. Their Facebook is a great place to find information regarding events and fundraisers, like this one they hosted in March to purchase new music equipment

The Zebras also have a somewhat active page on Instagram, where they are keen to shine pride on their accomplished student organizations. It has been a few months since the last post from the @wmzebras, however they have a few other social media accounts with interesting content.

The Zebras host another Instagram account, dedicated to their basketball team! What’s interesting is this account actually has more followers than their main school one. This account has really cool graphics with a lot of detail, I have a feeling it may possibly be student-ran!

Finally, for those wishing to keep up with the ins and outs of the school district, a YouTube page is linked covering Board of Education meetings for all interested.
