Farmington School District: Forest Elementary School

Today we will be observing one of the schools located in the Farmington school district, Forest Elementary located on Old Timber Rd. With a total of 397 students, this aspiring school aims to nurture its students to find their passions and activities for the future. The gender distribution is split right down the middle 50/50 with 33% of students being minorities. Countless families have given their testimonies about how the school acts as a second family for their children and how much the experience there helped them grow into the people that they are today. 

    With grades going from kindergarten to 5th grade. This school in the Farmington district focuses on the individual student and their journey of being able to learn information. “Our school’s state assessment data over time shows that 67% of our students are proficient in the area of English Language Arts and 57% of students are proficient in the area of Mathematics.” Forest prides itself on being inclusive and understanding because there is no other way to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.(for the life of me I tried to add my name to the category and tags but it would always insert someone elses name of ruin my draft. I tried playing around with it draft after draft but could not get it right.
