In 2019, Facebook launched its system “Facebook Dating.” The system is meant to connect individuals romantically.
We recently had a Student Led Discussion in class where we discussed the downsides as well as the upsides of online dating. Linked below is the article that the discussion revolved around.
An upside discussed was the ability to broaden one’s horizons; being connected to thousands online introduces a whole new world of possibility.
I am interested to see statistics of successful relationships as a result of this app in a few years.
