Jackson’s official student count for the 2022-2023 school year was 2,757 students, down from 2,952 students in 2018-2019. In comparison, there has been a statewide decline in the past five years.
Jackson’s student enrollment declines have been steep when looking at the past 12 years, but those declines have slowed in recent years, dropping just a few students per year now, but still heading in the wrong direction. We want to see student enrollment increasing, not decreasing.
