We started our tour of Boston at Harvard University. This is the Harvard Library, known to be the oldest and largest library in the world. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
The Boston Harbor was a major trading port in the 1600s. The tour included a stop at the Boston Tea Party museum, where you can experience a guided tour by actors and exhibits about the history. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
Quincy Market is a very popular food hall in a historic building. Also known as Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market offers a variety of food, shopping and entertainment. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
Boston is famous for the lobster roll and many restaurants offer it. Since Boston is right on the harbor, accessing fresh fish and lobster is super easy. Pictured here is a lobster roll from one of Quincy Halls food vendors. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
Mike’s Pastry has 4 different locations in Boston. They are most known for their cannoli, which is made in-house with all the other pastries as well. The long lines move quick, so don’t let that stop you from dropping in. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
Newbury Street is a very popular shopping district in Boston. You can find many high-end shops, boutiques and restaurants on the strip. One of my favorites is Dirty Water Dough Co. This pizzeria offers pizza by the slice and is a staple in every trip to Boston. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
The Boston Duck Tour is a must when visiting the city. Don’t let the name fool you, the tour has nothing to do with ducks. The name actually comes from the WWII military vehicle. It’s a cross between a truck and a boat. You will be guided throughout the city by a comedian/tour guide for a combination of humor and education. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
Boston has so much to offer, but one of my favorite parts of the city was artitecture. From historical buildings built in the 1600s to newly built homes and buildings that are expanding the city. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
At Quincy Market, you will find many street vendors offering different services. My cousin sat down for an artist who has been creating self-portraits for Quincy Market visitors for over 10 years. He was free-handing the portraits with chalk and was extremely talented. There were many other talents in the area such as musicians, singers and dancers. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
After a long few days of exploring, we stopped to take one final “selfie” before heading home. Pictured here is myself and my cousins. We take a trip to Boston yearly and always finalize the trip with a group photo. (Photo: Hebah Faraj)
