Farmington M-Steps results for Third-grade Math testing

Third-grade children at a number of Farmington elementary schools have performed over time in comparison to the statewide average, according to data from the Math M-STEP scores. Nearly every year, Hillside Elementary has excellent math performance and consistently scores higher than the state average. Even though they experienced recurring declines, Longacre and Kenbrook also often provide strong outcomes. Results for Wood Creek and Lanigan have been more inconsistent, Wood Creek showed a significant improvement in 2022–2023 before declining in 2023–2024. Something very important is Lanigan’s recent decline in scores, which indicates a need for specialized math assistance. Overall, the data indicates that although several schools are performing well in math, others could require additional support to allow children to perform at or above the state average.
