Wayne-Westland socials

When it comes to the district’s Twitter account they seem to only post event-related activities to their page. It does a great job of informing the reader of events that students have recently been a part of such as the post above. It’s a good way to find the specifics of each event since all the links needed are in the post. I give it a ranking of 4/5, they could/should post more often to keep engagement up.

Their YouTube channel is excellent based on the fact that they post frequently and what they post is very important to a general audience. Most if not all posts are full meetings that consist of the board of education. These offer insight as to what exactly this district is doing and what it plans to do. I give it a 5/5.

When it comes to being informed and up-to-date with all of the activities that Wanye-Westland is up to then their Facebook is the place to go. It is updated every day with the latest news on what is happening. I would have to give this one a 6/5 because it is the perfect source of information for a parent/participant of the district. As well as acting as a connector for the people mentioned above.

It would look like their Instagram is vital to their information sharing as well. It like the last two entries are visually capturing and allows access to the latest new as well. Its in more of a pictured format as well so they are able to be visually capturing whilst also being easy to navigate. The page is updated daily as well. I give it a 5/5.
