Overview: Wayne Memorial High School

Wayne Memorial High School is a public high school located in Wayne, Michigan. According to a report by US News, Wayne Memorial serves 1,361 students between 6th and 12th grade, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 18:1, which is worse than the average for the district.

The school boasts a diverse student population, housing 43 percent white students and 57 percent minority students with 41.4 percent of which being listed as black and 8.4 percent as hispanic or from latin descent, per the US News report.

14% of the school’s students met or exceeded proficient levels in math, and 38% reached or exceeded marks for reading.
