Farmington Public School District’s 3rd-grade MSTEP math scores have never gotten back to what they were in the 2014-2015 school year. During the 2014-2015 school year, the 3rd-grade MSTEP math scores’ average for the school district was 56.2, while the statewide average was 48.8.
In the year 2022-2023, the MSTEP Math results average for third-graders at Farmington schools was at 49.5, while the statewide average was at 42.9. Hillside Elementary from 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 posted average scores of 53.6 and 41.5. Impressively, since those years, from 2016-2017 to 2022-2023, the scores have varied between 63.5 and 75.7, with the exception of 55.3 during the 2018-2019 school year.
The MSTEP Math test is a state-issued test across all Michigan public schools for various grade levels and subjects.
