Podcast for Women, Valuable to All

Finding information about health and fitness is as easy as opening a web browser. Social media influencers have inundated the system with more information than the average individual can possibly digest. It can sometimes create information overload and become overwhelming, especially to anyone new to the world of health and fitness.

As a fitness professional, I am constantly looking for others in the industry providing valuable information on various topics: Workout programs, coaching tips, nutrition, challenges, etc. I recently had the fortune of coming across a podcast called “Muscle Science for Women” (MSW) hosted by Ashleigh VanHouten, health coach and author, and Rachel Gregory, nutritionist and strength and conditioning specialist.

As cited in their bio, VanHouten and Gregory are dedicated to “addressing women’s unique goals and challenges.” MSW is refreshing in that the hosts are dynamic, knowledgeable, and honest. They tackle, or as their bio says, “dive into all aspects fitness including nutrition, training, fitness culture, and so much more.”

VanHouten and Gregory positively complement each other with a vast depth of knowledge. And they are not afraid to admit when a topic is outside of their scope of expertise. While specifically designed for women, MSW provides valuable information for any health and fitness professional that interacts with women.

The podcast currently has 60 episodes, with a new episode every week.
