Recently, I listen to NPR’s podcast named, Is Time Ticking For TikTok? The podcasters on this episode is Asma Khalid, Deirdre Walsh and Bobby Allyn. I found this to be super interesting because of all of the stories going on about the TikTok bill on getting banned.
I found out that the United States government is freaked out about the possibility of the Chinese government propaganda being pushed onto the American people who are using TikTok. Also the US government doesn’t want the Chinese spying on the US users. Biden is already saying that he will sign the bill if it gets to his desk. I find that super interesting because he is risking a lot of young votes by banning the app from the US.
I liked the podcast because it opened my eyes to more of what is going on with the whole TikTok ban situation. It was super easy to follow along with the episode and also easy to understand.
