The 2022-2023 school year count for Farmington enrolled students was 9,082. This number is 457 fewer students from the 2018-2019 school year enrollment with 9,539 students. Statewide there has been a 4.7% decline in student enrollments.
Since the 2018-2019 school year enrollment in the next five years declined. 2019-2020 at 9,461, 2020-2021 at 9,151, with a huge decline in 2021-2022 with Covid-19 entering the scene getting an enrollment of 8,976, and now the current enrollment seeing a huge increase in enrollment with 9.082.
In the 2010-2011 school year, the statewide average was 1,602,124, over the next 13 years the decline in enrollment had a steady decline ending with 1,437,279 for the 2023-2024 school year. The data shows some indications of students going elsewhere for school. Also, the slow decline indicates people are attending schools in the state.
